Working to keep tuition affordable throughout the season while offering a quality experience is an important part of our mission as a non-profit organization.

Costs with any select team/club/organization will vary depending on the team an athlete is selected for and participates in. Your younger teams generally have costs that are less than older teams and a number of factors are considered.

The tuition is paid in installments with an initial payment in the first part of November as the academy season begins for training, and installment billing payments for each month up until the end of the season for the final balance. The season runs from November through April, so installments are low as to work with the parents for flexibility.  Parents will sign a written contract between them/the athlete and Momentum One Volleyball Academy.

Payment Plan Options

PSR Power League

*Momentum One Teams will participate in PSR Power League Matches throughout the season and the PSR Power League fees for your and your team to play are included in your tuition.

In 2007, the Puget Sound Region initiated a linear ranking tournament series to be played at various sites within the region. This tournament series is used to rank teams within each age division and is one vehicle used to provide qualifying and seeding into the Regional Championships as well as into the region’s National Bid tournament.

The tournament series will be held on five days spread over five separate weekends with the first two days in January, and one additional date each in February, March and April.

The first January date will consist of seeding rounds, while the second January date will be the initial point scoring date. The playing days in February, March, and April will also have points awarded to each team based on their finish. Thus, a total of four point scoring dates will be included in the final league standings.

*Momentum One Teams will participate in 1-4 potential tournaments or qualifiers throughout the season and the tournament fees for you and your team to play are included in your tuition.

Additional Items

The 2019/2020 Season Tuition & Fees do not cover:

  • Guaranteed minimum and/or maximum playing time for an athlete in any PSR league matches and/or tournaments
  • Athlete’s & family members travel costs to/from practices, PSR league matches and tournaments.
  • Any additional tournaments (Not already listed by Momentum One on this website) and tournaments costs/fees elected by the player’s team including but not limited to in season and/or post season team entry fees & coach travel costs.  Final approval and authorization of additional requests will be through the Momentum One VA Board of Directors from each team.
  • Player’s Equipment that is outside the scope of what is listed as included in the tuition and fees for personal mandatory equipment purchases such as additional spandex shorts, ankle | knee | elbow | feet braces, knee pads and elbow pads.
  • USAV Membership/Upgrades or costs associated through your USAV Membership/Upgrades.
  • This list is not inclusive of other items that may not be present at the time of this publication.
